Intersections
- About 5-6 seconds from the intersection, cover your brake and check the rearview mirror for vehicles
- Glance left, right, and left again for cross traffic or pedestrians
- If it's safe and clear, accelerate after your Vehicle passes the point of no return
- Stop if the light changes to yellow before the point of no return
- If stopping, make sure to stop before the stop line, and/or crosswalk
- If turning at an intersection, always yield to on coming traffic especially when you do not have a protected turn
