- Place the Vehicle's gear lever in reverse

- Check for any Pedestrians/Children or traffic from the left and right

- Release the brake pressure and while still pressing it, back slowly till the rear of your vehicle reaches the end of the driveway

- Stop the Vehicle and turn on the signal in the direction you intend to back

- If backing right, turn the wheel about one full turn right then proceed to back slowly while looking over your right shoulder

- Stop 90 degrees from where you started the turn

- Straighten your steering wheel and place your Vehicle's gear lever into drive

- Check your rearview mirror, drivers side mirror and left shoulder for traffic

- Proceed forward when it's safe to do so
